After that I had to watch as much of the series as I could find. I think I got most the obvious gags, which ones were funny because they were true and which were funny because they were absurd, but...as a newbie gaijin I wonder how many of them might have gone completely over my head. I should take it all with a grain of salt for at least as long as I can still claim ignorance. Oh, man…that was more wit than I expected out of the Japanese.
