Traditional Japanese Home in the City

May 14, 2008 on 11:19 am | In Osaka | | Email This Post

Here is a large (for Japanese standards) Japanese home right in Osaka. I usually don’t see houses of this style unless I get away from the city.

Nice isn’t it?

Garden, wall, tiled roof, woody, classic.

And they’ve got a guard-cat.

That’s a mighty, intimidating guard cat. Look at the blood-lust in his eyes.

Beautiful home and (of course I have to say it) GORGEOUS cat! I am reminded of how much I want rain chains on my house but I don’t even have gutters . . .

Reminds me of the house in Gokusen, season 1. Maybe the cat is part of the yakuza.

Did the house change in the current season of Gokusen?
