How Do you Say Laced With Cyanide in Japanese?

April 4, 2008 on 9:13 am | In Gadgets, Language | | Email This Post

For those of you who have a Casio EX-word dictionary, try looking up 混入 (こんにゅう) , and check out the 2nd sample sentence.

「そのコーヒーにはシアン化合物が混入されていた。」

The coffee had been laced with cyanide.

Japanese you can use!

Lol. The first example sentence for 混入 in my electronic dictionary (Casio IDF-3000) is:

    ワインに毒を混入する
mix poison in wine/add poison to wine

    Hahahaha, handy!

I also like putting friends’ names (the more common ones) in the search, some of them are hilariously accurate.
