Well on JapanNewbie, you ask, and you receive.
My poor wasabi plant.

Finished.

Rotten too. He’s stinky. He’s outta here. Really. It rotted at the core.
In fact. The picture looks greener than it actually is.
If you’re gonna buy me a present. Don’t buy me a plant.
Unless it’s a virtual plant.
I’m sorry Mr. Wasabi! Next time I eat a wasabi filled sushi… I’ll reminisce.

ご愁傷様 :(
i don’t have much of a green thumb either. i’ve been slowly but surely killing off a few of my sempai’s plants over the year. i’m not sure how much longer they’ll last!

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Looks to me like the little fellow is just taking a nap. Tuck it in and wait a few hours and Mr. Wasabi will be up to his shenanigans again in no time at all!

Yes, and John Edwards is just taking a break, and will be back to campaigning next week!

Poor Mr. Wasabi. It seems like his life was doomed either way.
Matt: I like your positive spin!

Over six inches of snow in Tokyo, so no Setubun bean throwing today. :(

Anyone have a source for Wasabi? A few options online but they’re all dry. I’m looking for a personal source or contact. I’m a plant scientist and want to cultivate. Thanks
