Who said shopping for groceries couldn’t be fun?
Otokomae Tofu is the most exciting, most manly Tofu in Japan. Check out that website, it’s hilarious.
The tofu package has the character for MAN (男) proudly displayed on the cover.
According to our favorite online dictionary, OTOKOMAE (男前) means “studmuffin”.
- 男前
- studmuffin // studola
The flash powered website asks, “Are you jonile tonight?”
Are you?

I’m manly. Boil my tofu, and put soy sauce on it. Sometimes, I use ponzu, or even put sliced green onions on top.
I’m a chef. Tofu is cheap (207 yen at my grocery store).
