People might have just been linking their friends to the video at your blog instead of at YouTube.  So every time someone wanted to see it, they would load the page on your blog where the iframe was.  Conceivably, if enough people wanted to watch that video, that could run up your bandwidth.

And your site is dynamic.  It's built every time someone visits.  That takes up more bandwidth than a static site.  So imagine all those people clicking to view the video...and the page the video was embedded into being rebuilt every time.

Yeah, that would do it.

So it is the video's fault, but indirectly.  There isn't really anything you can do about that, unfortunately.</description>
