Carl’s Jr. Double Six Dollar Burger

October 2, 2006 on 11:20 am | In Food, Other | | Email This Post

You can’t buy a burger like this in Japan.

I think it would take 3 Japanese men, or 4-5 Japanese ladies to eat this. Or maybe 1 Sumo.

This burger, has 1522 calories, and uses 1 full pound of beef.

This is the Carl Jr (apparently the Hardees of the West Coast in the US) double 6 dollar burger. They used to have the 6 dollar burger which had 1/2 pound of beef, and in a stroke of creative genius… Came up with the double.

You can read more about the amazing 6 dollar burger here.

Thanks to Mike for emailing this picture to me and making me hungry…

I guess you haven’t seen when BK has done this summer. That looks downright healthy next to Burger King’s new BK Stackers which have up to four beef patties “no veggies allowed.”

I’ve had the Six Dollar Burger (at Hardee’s, East Coast represent!), but not the double. The single is enough!

    But ooooooh so good.

You’ve obviously never tried the Double Mt. Fuji Burger at a Hard Rock Cafe in Japan…

    Joe!

Yes, I ahve never tried the Double Mt. Fuji Burger at Hard Rock in Japan!

Right now, I’m sure it’ll way over my budget…

These days I cook curry and eat it for 4-5 days straight. I ride my bike to school!

Living the simple life. Oh yeah.

mdchachi, the bk stackers is not a full pound of beef is it? The $6 dollar burger is the biggest mainstream burger in the USA from what I know.

I was in Japan for two weeks and was often hungry after eating meals. They need to offer things like this at Mos Burger.

Wow, this made me hungry. Too bad food like this is impossible to get in Norway.

Man. That sandwich looks so HEAVY.

Jasper, I don’t you you really need that in Norway.

    Probably better off without it.

Stick to healthier foods! You’ll live longer, and have more time to remember thousands of Kanji in your life.

That made me hungry as well!. We sure don’t have that in Sweden as well, and meat is very expensive, most of it imported from US or Brazil.

Well, I’m off to eat some Köttbullar…

I just ate two of those things and wow…I’m full.

It was a contest. and I won $150. I love being a big eater. especially when it makes me money. I wouldn’t suggest attempting this however…i’m a professional.
