When Mormons Attack

I would say that 85% of the time in Japan, and sorry to pull race into this, but if a well dressed white person randomly starts a conversation with you while you are alone on the street somewhere, chances are they’re Mormon missionaries.

If they happen to be wearing a name tag, you can increase that confidence interval to 95%.

One exception I have experienced to this was once in Nagoya when I was approached by a J.Witness members… Similar, to say the least.

Here are some Mormons on the hunt now.

They’ve got him.

There is nothing wrong with this. It’s important to recruit as many to the cause as possible. Time is short.

    I don’t know about MORMONS well.
    Are they bad guys?
    I often see them in Wakayama as well.
    Helmets,white shirts,bicycle…they look same.
    I didn’t know that they’re Mormon missionary,I took them for just students from foreign countries.

    Ginpei! Actually they’re not bad guys.

    They want to save your soul.

    They all look the same, so if you don’t want you soul to be saved they should be easy to avoid.

    They are on a mission to convert you to their religion.

    When we lived in the US some Mormons dropped by while I was at work. My wife (Japanese) pulled the ol’ “No speak the Engurishu” and they went away. Trouble is that they came back a few days later with a Japanese member of the flock.

    In Japan they would come to my apartment so often I just stopped getting the door for anyone unless I knew someone was coming over. I probably got out of paying for NHK that way.
