My wife (Japanese) pulled the ol' "No speak the Engurishu" and they went away. Trouble is that they came back a few days later with a Japanese member of the flock. In Japan they would come to my apartment so often I just stopped getting the door for anyone unless I knew someone was coming over. I probably got out of paying for NHK that way. Actually they're not bad guys. They want to save your soul. They all look the same, so if you don't want you soul to be saved they should be easy to avoid. Are they bad guys? I often see them in Wakayama as well. Helmets,white shirts,bicycle...they look same.
