I'm more partial to the Menniken (sp?) Belgian waffle place in the area. When I first moved to Japan, there were Belgian waffle standards everywhere, about as ubiquitous as McDonalds. But that place in Nanba is one of only two such stores I've seen in the past five years.

They really need to work together, and create a Menniken/Haagen Daaz ice cream sandwich!
