Bilingual Newbie

これから気が向いたときに、英語はもちろん、日本語も書きます！ 言語を変えるに、右上にリンクがありますので、確認してみてください！ encodingのことがよくわからんけど、とりあえずUTF-8(たぶん)でやってみた。うまく使えなかったら教えてね。
From now on, when I feel especially motivated, I’ll be posting in Japanese and English! There is a link in the upper right fo the site you can click to change the language. Give it a try, let me know how it goes. I’m not exactly sure how the encoding should be set up. Now it is Unicode UTF-8 (I think).

    Hey this is great! I hope I can post my comment in both languages. UTF-8 is the way to go for web pages. I always go with UTF-8 myself. Email on the other hand, that’s got to be ISO-2022-JP because I think keitai phones read only that and not UTF-8. A few email clients might not read UTF-8 either.

    Got one problem with this though. Notice the fonts are different now?

    The font face is usually set in the stylesheet. Notice how your entries are all marked as class=”entrada” Maybe if you add this class assignment to your language div tag, then it will use the font for that style. Try that and see how it looks.

    UTF-8 is great, and it can be used for roman languages too.
    Like Català (Catalan).
